Loop extends a continuous plaster-finished volume across a series of timber supports of varying scales. Their changing proportions interrupt the uniformity of the seat, creating moments of contrast within its otherwise continuous form. At one end, the timber rises through an opening in the surface, bringing structure into the composition rather than concealing it.
