A witness to the influence of Arabesque - highly developed in Damascus at the time, on Palestinian floor tiles, proving the close ties in the region through craftsmanship. Waqt prints the Arabesque influenced floor tile found in Ahmad Jameel's residence in Nablus - Palestine onto a side table. The fading of the print stands to assert the timelessness of the Palestinian story and heritage. Inspired by the book "Traditional Floor Tiles in Palestine" published by Riwaq Centre for Architectural Conservation.
